This is your traditional, classic, set your watch to it, big New York pizza pie. Quality ingredients across the board but it’s clearly the Brooklyn, NY water that separates this pie from similar pies in other states. It’s all in the dough, which has decent crisp and that signature taste you find in all the best pizza. The cheese to sauce ratio is outstanding. But the sauce is definitely the star here; super sweet and bursting with flavor. Pretty standard pizza cheese, a little thick but not too bad. Overall the pie is a tad heavy: Brooklyn’s version of a football pizza. It’s the opposite of an upscale pie, very blue collar. Nothing fancy here, just a real pizza’s pizza.
