🍕 Welcome to Red Bank! Huge #slice people at this place! This coal-fire pizza & Italian kitchen took me on a journey for my taste buds.. first of all, the ingredients are all made FRESH in this shop every single day - they’re opened 7 days a week. Yes that’s right. The bread, the sauce, even the mozzarella! This place has a long history, the name was picked up from the owners great grandfather who came from Sicily to start a new life - there’s a single photo of this man and it is printed on the wall close to the coal-fire oven, it’s a picture of his great grandfather in-front of his restaurant with a silicons family crest; it’s worth noting this may be the only known picture of him. I also learned that during COVID, the Old Bridge location donated thousands of pizza’s to Meridian Hospital to first responders, victims.. the generosity of this place and the owners is astounding. Their story truly inspired me. With that said, this was the best 5-course lunch I have ever had in my entire life. I have never tasted such fresh food or coal-fire pizza for that matter; like this before. Thanks to the @slice app, I once again found one of NJ’s finest pizzeria’s at the click of a button! SOLID pizza!
