Not crispy enough, too much cheese. No flop but tasted good. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and pictures on the walls. Placed was packed with many people waiting for a table.

Great bar pie

I really loved the reviews and pictures. Even my pic looks great . The pizza is really thin and reminds me a bit of pete and Elda’s . It also reminds me of a good frozen store pizza . The dough and undercarriage just were not impressive to me . The pizza was very greasy, not just the pepperoni side , and it was very tangy . The tang saved the pie . It has a great tang. But with over 100 reviews, I don’t find this pizza to be an 8. It just does not reach that level . The place is super cool , and the other food looked good . I just don’t get all the hype on the pizza

Really great pizza. Crispy crust, tangy sauce, flavorful cheese. We got the half cheese and half special.

Review is from 9/6. Very good bar pie and right there with some of the better ones. I liked the sauce and cheese. The crust had a very different texture to the bottom. One of the better options in this area. On a side note, place was very busy. Service was good. Loved the atmosphere. Just don’t get the creamy pesto sauce as a dinner option.

Potential underscore by .1 but very good all around. Besides the meh undercarriage not much to complain about.

Very good bar pie - Dave was right on the money with the 8.3. Great crisp on the outer crust, very good taste, little greasy and had some flop after sitting a couple mins, but overall a great pie.

Surprised this place gets so high reviews. Greasy with no crisp. Good, but low 8’s good? We disagree. We were at Pete and Elda’s a while ago and friends suggested next time to try this place. . We did, liked the other place a bit better. . That being said, EVERYTHING ELSE we got (meatball side, sausage side, garlic bread) was phenomenal. We’ll be back, but probably not for the pizza.

Excellent thin crust pizza, the sauce is amazing.

Super solid pizza. Paper thin. Crust is excellent. Very small amount of cheese and sauce. Could easily house an entire pie. Could use a small napkin in the middle, but not too bad. Also could use more crunch in the body of the slice. Still a great slice, easily worth the 30 min drive

Pretty mediocre honestly. Really don’t get the hype. Not great taste, sold to us already pretty cold, cheese tears off the slice. Crust is alright.

unreal pie. nice vibe inside too. Quite possibly the best in the Asbury area. Easy 8.7

An excellent New Haven style pizza. I have yet to find a pizza I like better, New Haven, NYC or anywhere else. I am rating their plain but definitely also try their meatball pie.

I like sweeter sauce but that’s more preference than a negative. Killer pie and love the well doneness. The pasta fagiole is a 9.5

Very good thin pizza and have great other food as well other than pizza ,wouldn’t say it’s better than Pete and Elda’s about just as good but definitely different style both very good
