Vic’s is one of the great old school restaurants/pizza places out there! The pizza here is one of my absolute favorites. The pizza is on the thinner side (probably a little thicker than bar style). It has tremendous flavor, is made well done with a great crisp, and has minimal to no flop. I have never had anything but a great experience eating here over the years. I can’t recommend Vic’s enough!

Legendary spot. Cheese was average(actually bland), crust flavor was special, crust texture was great. Grease/oil was too much and drowns out the cheese with the saltiness. See photo. The only fact that would make this a bar pie is that it’s small and thin. Not firm enough for that category. Serious flop out of the box in the center(where your first. Bite would be).

I love a good bar pie and that is the style served here. It’s a little smaller than I imagined, but not a problem. However, this is a case of the hype hurting heading into the review from high expectations. The dough is definitely the star, great firmness, terrific crisp, especially the crust; but the ingredients that rest atop this solid base aren’t nearly as good. The cheese is a little too chunky and not melted thoroughly, neither oozing nor tight like most bar pies. There’s also way more grease than I anticipated, drowning out the flavor of the sauce and rather salty. From what I could decipher, the sauce was fairly average, not particularly strong, left me kinda flat. Aside from the dough, this pizza tastes like if a chain decided to make bar pies. It’s fine for local Jersey Shore bar pie, but my big expectations and high hopes were not met. The tasty dough and crispy crust saves this pizza from dipping into the 6s. I’m sorry, but this is not a pie worth traveling for, even though I wish it was, cause it’s a very cool establishment with really nice people.

Old school restaurant with a 70s vibe that gives a feeling that your in the presence of Tony Soprano! Pizza was good, cooked perfectly but the sauce was bland and cheese was greasy. The cheaper the cheese the more grease your gonna get! I compare all to New Haven for my top and my bottom to dominos. Again, it’s good, no way is this in the 8s. Was not worth the hour and a half drive… meh!!

Enjoyable but not memorable. Maybe wouldve enjoyed more if the expectations werent so high. Old school vibe, which i dig, but i have had plenty of better pizza in this area.

Outstanding bar style pizza. Not too heavy in terms of cheese. Definitely one of the top pizza places in NJ

How is it possible Dave hasn’t been here yet?? Vic’s is our go to when visiting back home. Thin, crispy, and the sauce can’t be beat. Jersey pizza beats NY pizza any day of the week. It’s so good my dad used the pizza box to transport his puzzle back home just so he could smell it the whole car ride back to FL. DONT SLEEP ON VICS PREZ!!

Vic’s is the best pizza on the Shore! Forget Pete & Elda’s, Federici’s or Nunzio’s. This is the spot! Every time you go here, you get the same great pie! For the money, A Large Pie and the Antipasto Salad here is the best meal for the money on the Jersey Shore

Overall this is a great pie been looking forward to it a while and came as delivered. Nothing stood out to me but I can’t say anything isn’t right either so tasty cheese sauce garlicky and sweet. Crust very thin crispy towards the end with some charring on the outer edges. I can see why this place is what it is, old world inside straight up fast ball. For beach pizza this is a go to!!

Thin pizza. Great crunch. Classic sauce. A little greasy. A Jersey Shore classic.

If Chuck e cheese made a bar pie this is what it would be. Pretty bland sauce with cheap cheese. Thin with grease and flop. But you know what they say about pizza it's like sex, even when it's bad it's good. Really not terrible and place had a good vibe would not repeat but enjoyed myself. Side Review: meatballs were average tasted like it had to much seasoning maybe onion powder not sure
