Pizza Review
When a pizzeria doesn’t have a website, it’s usually an indicator of an old school joint, trendy word of mouth spot, or off the radar dump. This place unfortunately falls into the 3rd category. They write “Little Italy” pizza on the storefront window, but this is not even close. Extremely basic strip mall football pizza best describes this pie, nothing remotely special. The dough is firm enough, not terribly floppy, bland taste, thin but super soft with zero crisp, no crunch in the crust either. The generic pizza cheese is too thick for the thinness of the dough, overpowering the other ingredients; particularly the sauce, which is light and watery with a slight crushed tomato flavor. The sauce is in dire need of thickening and some spice to contribute more flavor to the pie. The worst part of this pizza is the overwhelming abundance of grease engulfing the entire pie. An oil slick gushes with every bite, dripping down your chin and hands. A predominantly salty flavor emanates from the excess grease. Overall, this is undesirable substandard strip mall football pizza. With every single ingredient needing improvement, I consider this pizza to be a borderline lost cause.
