Portie Pie- Interesting. Exceptional? No. Really flavorful sauce and good execution. The sauce for my money is over the top. There’s actually too much going on. The cheese is nice but not special. Overall execution good but not great. Crust slightly lacks crunch. When you get closer to crust end crunch goes up. 7.7 Nonna- Now we’re talking. However it isn’t exceptional. It’s way more subtle. However, it’s better. Crunch is completely lacking, but the overall taste is far superior and much simpler. Virtually no spices but absolutely delicious. Cheese more low key, almost a supporting role. Ratio of cheese higher on this. Sauce, despite the utter lack of spice is really awesome. Slightly sweet. If this had more crunch the score would be higher. 7.9 Bonus wifey score below- Porti 8.3 Nonna 7.9 Greg “the bull” Luzinski once said, “The hardest thing to do in all of sports is hit a baseball. Hitting home runs is even harder. From the time I was six, that’s all I ever wanted to do.” This joint isn’t a home run. It’s easily a double. Worth a trip. Community score too high for my money, but solid.
