Villa Pizza & Restaurant

OK so here it goes. The funny thing about doing a review is sometimes you walk into a place and a slice is good or decent and sometimes you go in there for a second or third time and not so much. This is the case today. So I’ve had villa a couple times because it’s close and local. It never blew me away but for this part of jersey it was edible. Well unfortunately for them today is the review and this is that other time.. I’ll start with a somewhat positive. The DO towards the back end of a slice had a nice taste I was pretty crispy. What I look for in a run-of-the-mill pizza dough. I know I’m not going to get extraordinary in the middle of Jersey so ideal. Towards the end of the slice what a horrible flop. Not a New York flop a jersey junk flop. The edge was soaked with a mixture of runny tomato sauce , Grease, and underwhelming cheese. The sauce was not so good. Tasted like a squash tomato with absolutely no flavor. I was hoping for a little bit more than that. The cheese, tasted like the cheaper out this month, i’ve also tasted better quality cheese from them. So I don’t know maybe it’s on the down slide from average. And I’m saying average for the middle of Jersey which is not saying much. Sorry to say you won’t see me here again. 5.2 that’s the review
