If you guys come to Santa Monica please come here it’s so good! The sauce and pizza are amazing. It’s crisp and thin. Crust is crispy!! Love it.

Solid NY slice

Great crisp. No flop. Solid east coast pizza. Sauce and cheese very good. Top Santa Monica pizza joint!

Good crust & undercarriage. Everything else was pretty basic

I was traveling to L.A. for work and sought this place out after watching Dave’s review. It is very good pizza-thin, large slices with a good crust. The pizza was better than the breadsticks, and we got a half sausage/half cheese. The sausage is in thin strips. Cool open-air environment with large window spaces out front to let in the breeze. All in all, good experience.

Decided to try this out based on Dave’s review and other solid reviews on the app. I went with a half and half pizza, half pepperoni half terra firma. The pepperoni was fantastic, I’d def say one of the top slices I’ve had in LA, an 8.4. The terra firma half was disgusting though, incredibly undercooked, looked like they just haphazardly piled a handful of lightly sautéed vegetables on top after the fact, nothing was baked into the pie and easily fell off the top. That to me was a 5.6 or so, had to air fry it for an extra 10 mins for it to feel like a nicely cooked slice. Maybe it’s an issue with doing a half/half pie that one side needs more time, or that I ordered later in the night? Either way, I’d say stick to a basic cheese or pepperoni if you go here.

Sophie gives the Cheese side A good 7 but the meat side a soft 5. Avg to 6. Better try next time. Looking for the 8.0

Excellent pizza. Good enough to serve as a meal at my dinner parties along with Vito’s equally excellent salads. High quality cheese. Good crust. Very thin. Sometimes the flop is too much in the center.

One of the coolest pizza places I’ve eaten in, they play music off actual vinyl and they have a ton of them. Picnic tables and bar seating super cool place and very friendly staff. Pizza was alright tho, big flop in the middle because of heavy grease but the non floppy part had great crust. Sauce and cheese were a bit underwhelming but a decent slice overall, I’d go back to have some drinks and hang out in the cool atmosphere. Decent slice but didn’t blow my hair back

SO not even close to an 8. Wtf was portnoy on during this review? A floppy, flavourless, soul-less slice for $4, do not bother

Didn’t even bother taking a pic, that’s how disappointing this was. Doughy, almost no sauce and more flop than the fat dude from jackass in a pool. I will say, it was a slice opposed to a fresh pie so it should have an asterisk next to it as it probably wasn’t fresh.

I cheese slice and a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, $9 and change, 2pm on a Mother’s Day Pros - Awesome sign out front featuring Vito’s laughing face. The bartender spins chill records behind the bar. It’s a cool place Cons - Soft, chewy slice. Not a ton of good flavors coming through on this Verdict - I don’t understand the Portnoy score, unfortunately. The slice took over 10 minutes to come out of the kitchen so I was psyched for a fresh pie slice. Not sure if this was a reheat but it wasn’t everything I was hoping and expecting. Sorry, Vito
