Vito's Pizzeria

I so wanted to give this a higher score. It’s rare on Long Island to find a perfectly prepared slice that is made from a traditional oven. It was crispy with a spot on undercarriage. However, no pop to the flavor. If it any type of tang or zest and this would be an 8.

Great crisp. Strong flavor. Good ratios.

2nd review of Vito’s. First time it was super underwhelming but this time it’s much different. Under carriage is super crispy with zero flop. Sauce and cheese taste good but wish it was cooked up top more.

Chomped into this one a little too soon but I couldn’t resist. Very good on all fronts. The place to improve would be the crust. I like mine a little crispier than this. Very good choice overall.

Stopped by Vito's based on the app rating compared with other local places. The regular was heated up fresh and was quite hot. It was a bit greasy, which you can see in the picture, and the bottom third of the slice was tearing off upon picking up. It was however, crispy, very thin, and had a pretty decent and standard crust. The sauce and cheese were very typical, and overall it was akin to pizza you may get in bulk for a party of several people, also known as football pizza. If in the area, I'd recommend Vito's, although I suggest waiting at least 5 minutes for the cheese to settle a little so that it does not run right off after picking it up. If my slice was more structurally sound, and less greasy, the score would be higher, but with how it was given to me fresh, I stand by my score. Overall, it is fine pizza.

Thin, crispy… good football slice. Sauce was just ok to me… no charge for my girls hand in the pic with the slice 😉

Good slice. Nice and crispy crust with a good amount of sauce. Not sure I can go as high as some of the other reviews, but good quality.

Solid slice. I so wanted to be able to give it a higher score. Old fashioned type of place. A lot of flop. Crust was good, sauce was good, a lot of cheese causing grease and flop.

Too cheesy. It’s basically a ball of cheese with crust. Used to be better. Maybe it was a bad day.
