This is a solid Napoletana pie. The crust has a wonderful consistency and flavor. Perfect amount of char. Perfect amount of flop. Love the sauce and a perfect amount. The cheese really pulls it all together.

Excellent Neapolitan pizza. Flavor was fantastic, crust was light and airy. A little soupy in the middle. This style of pizza isn’t my favorite, but this might be the best Neapolitan pie I’ve had in a while.

Again, fantastic basic cheese. Nice char and bubbles on the crust. Just wish the undercarriage was a bit more cooked (flop). By the way, half price pies on Mondays and Tuesday’s! Cheers friends.

Okay, so not only is their pizza delicious but the rest of the menu is great and the drinks are fire. Great restaurant, great pizza, bonus points for the eastern boarder sticker in the bar area.

Not bad. Definitely not what I thought with all the hype. I’m a brick oven guy. The sauce was good, basil was fresh. Not a lot of sauce or cheese. Some flop, which isn’t norm for brick oven, especially when I asked for well-done. Crust was bland. And much smaller pizza for same price as a large at Pepe’s or Anzio’s.

When I want fancy, good tasting, brick oven pizza, I always go to Volturno. I’m rather plain with my toppings so their Margherita pizza is the one for me. It is thin, yet chewy, as long as they don’t overcook it. The flavor is great. It’s a perfect side along to a cocktail, but isn’t what I want when I’m having a true New York pizza craving.
