Waldo Pizza

Waldo pizza is never a disappointment. Their ratatouille pizza is a delicious vegetarian option.

Still the best pizza in KC that we have found. I like the original crust. My wife likes the St Louis thin. Both are really good.

A staple of Kansas City. Alright so St. Louis style (thin crust) is a specialty. Most consistently good pepperoni pizza in the city. I said it, shoot me. But it doesn’t have that New York style crispy, no flop no bullshit pie. Still a damn good slice.

The hand toss isn’t my style but the sauce is great. I got a specialty pizza the Local Pig on the St Louis thin crust and that was tasty af.

2nd time trying St. Louis style pizza. Went to Imo’s first. This is definitely better. But I’m still not a fan of this style. I don’t even know why St. Louis has it’s own category. New York? Yes. Chicago? Yes. Detroit? Yes. St. Louis? Not so much.

Tangy sauce, 4 cheeses, amazing

This is most certainly football pizza. Doughy is the name of the game here but the dough tastes great. Perfect cook on this pie too. Great cheese to sauce ratio. Loved it.

Sauce has a really good tang, and cheese is very fresh. Best pizza I have had in Kansas City in the 2 years I've been out here. Highly recommend!!!

Chewy, doughy crust, that really cradles the toppings like the best of warm hugs. The toppings are widely varied, from lamb sausage to zucchini, though I went with a more classic bacon/pineapple. The sauce was bright, though a bit muted, but the cheese was exactly what you want on your pizza; Stringy, gooey, savory, delicious. One bite (Everybody knows the rules), but an extremely satisfying bite, with great flavor, and great proportions, and great chew. Among the finest pies to be had in KC.
