Water Street Pizzeria

I asked for this thin crust pizza to be cooked well but not “too well”. Photo shows that it was indeed well done. It also shows a ton of grease which probably is the extruded vegetable oil from the pizza blend motz I suspect they use. Greasy. One bite rule revealed a decent tang with the sauce dominating. After a full slice or more that domination is too much. In particular, too much oregano. Crust was uniformly well done but zero char. Perhaps a rolled pizza skin prepped in the morning for the entire day? In any event, this pie was a bit of a disappointment after seeing all the high scores here on OneBite and on Yelp. Maybe I too discriminating. But I suspect not
