Pretzel saved the day, or this would be a 1.2. Three pizzas and the Mac and cheese pizza was all that’s edible.

Got the 16” pepperoni and hot honey pizza twice on my Smokey Mountains trip. Delicious coal fire taste. Great coloring on the undercarriage. Nice amount of char. The pepperonis were very crisp. The second pie was a little greasy but the first pie was great after giving it time to settle. Really nothing wrong here, a fantastic pie.

Great pizza and cool place. Worth the trip if in the area.

Damn! Rock solid pie here! A smidge greasy in the middle (but in a flavorful way). Really good, period. I doubt it travels very well—good news: it’s cool spot inside (live music, ax throwing, and full bar).

Perfect crust and under carriage. We got pep and a classic tomato. Both insane. Wouldn’t be shocked if it’s best in TN.

Family and i dropped In from West Virginia to try it out did not disappoint best pizza I’ve had in a very long time will come back when wanting pizza!!

If you’re anywhere near Pigeon Forge and love authentic, flavorful pizza, West of God Coal Fired Pizza is an absolute must-visit. I stopped in recently and tried the New Haven’s Original Apizza, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The crust was thin, crisp, and cooked to perfection in their coal-fired oven. It had that ideal balance of a slight char and chewy texture. This is not your average tourist town pizza. The sauce was another standout. It had just the right touch of sweetness to complement the rich tomato flavor without overpowering it. We also had their wings and they were very good as well. We had both BBQ and Buffalo sauces. I could have used a bit more sauce on the buffalo, but the BBQ had plenty. Not a complaint, just an observation and could easily be corrected if I had asked for more. If you’re visiting Pigeon Forge, do yourself a favor and make time for West of God. The pizza alone is worth the trip.

Ok, I thought, "No way these reviews are legit..." Welp, I was DEAD wrong. We ended up ordering 3 pizzas because they were amazing. Their signature Tomato Pie was incredible. The Pepperoni pizza was so good! Crispy pepperoni around the edges, the crust was perfect, no flop. The plain Cheese pizza... Well, it was arguably as good as some of the best New Haven pies I've ever had. Is all this located in the mountains in Pigeon Forge? Yes, it is, and this spot is a gem!

From CT and found myself a New Haven Apizza in Tennessee. Was NOT disappointed. Excellent pie.

Fantastic, fermented deliciousness with high quality ingredients. A perfect char and char taste.

Shockingly good for a tourist town. Zesty sauce but it was closing time so the charcoal oven wasn’t quite as hot to get the char.

A little floppy, but still pretty crispy. I have to put it in the 8’s because the flavor is just so good. After reading other reviews, I kinda feel like they just rushed ours a bit with the crust, and if they had taken a bit more time and got it crispier it may have been in the mid 8’s. Who knows.

We ordered the Margherita and the Pep and Cheese pizzas. Sauce for the Margherita was robust but was lacking enough cheese and the bottom was not as charred as I hoped. Rating 7.6. The pep and cheese was heavy on the sauce but the right amount if cheese and the charred bottom was better. Rating 7.2 overall pizza score for both 7.4. Good but not fantastic.

best pizza no doubt in this area. dave would easily give this place an 8.1. the tomato pie is excellent and the flop is non existent. chefs kiss
