Served hot in 4-5 minutes with a hard West Point crisp and zero Highland Falls flop.
First Bite Score: 6.2
The sauce is non existent but has good tang and flavor. The mozzarella is average and there might be 12 or 13 strands on the entire slice. The dough recipe is pretty good. It’s fluffy with a good crisp and decent chew.
Sub Score: 6.2
SAUCE: needs more, other than that I can’t really judge due to the small amount on the slice
MOZZARELLA: not very much on the slice, needs better salinity
DOUGH: pretty good, too thick and gimmicky with the Parmesan on top.
Summary: with more sauce and cheese, less thick dough and a slight seasoning / salinity bump this could be a mid 7 slice. For two bucks I can’t complain.
