More flop than my beloved Cleveland Browns (I love flop) but the sauce and cheese is always on point. Dr is pissed I eat here so much but what does he know

Really enjoyed this pizza. Great crisp, cheese and sauce were exceptional! Will definitely get this again and again.

Surprisingly solid. Lots of cheese and sauce, and as others said, the pie was a bit sloppy and greasy. No flop, great taste, awesome Youngstown style pie.

Alright, first of all, I don’t understand some of the lower scores. Maybe everyone gets the wrong thing. The blatantly obvious reason to come here is the “Powers Way” style pizza (AKA “P-Style), which is an obvious nod to Petrillo’s, which was located on Powers Way, and was the greatest pizza place of all time. There’s no reason to get any other style, this one wins in a landslide. Feel free to take a look at my YouTube food review channel “First Bite” (just search for me name Dan Costarell and you’ll find it), as I have a comprehensive review of this place (and many other reviews, both pizza and otherwise) posted there. It’s as close to the original as you can get. The 9.4 is well earned (and that’s coming from a tried and true pizza guy), and it may have even been a bit low out of fear that one day I’d find something that was better, although in retrospect this isn’t likely at all.

Westgate Pizza Company has a Petrillo’s Pizza. If you grew up on the South Side of Y-Town or Struthers in the 70’s or 80’s you remember Petrillo’s Pizza on Powers Way. Apparently the owner of West Gate worked at Petrillo’s as a teenager and knows the recipe. It is dead on. Brought back a ton of memories.

Good football pizza

Square pizza with only 3 sides of crust throwing off my balance in life. Under Cooked and not well dispersed cheese. Has pretty good taste and a cheap pie.
