Westover Pizzeria

I like well done pizza and I like when it’s crispy. But I don’t like when it’s crunchy cause it tastes stale and that’s my biggest issue with this pie. The crust completely crumbled and fell apart, which leads me to believe this pie was cooked earlier and reheated. The abundance of excess grease soaking the entire pizza is another indicator of a reheat job. The cheese is pretty standard, tight & covered in oil. The sauce isn’t bad, a little zip & tang but nothing special. The dough isn’t very tasty but not terribly bland either. I’m not sure why, but I expected a better showing from this joint; but as it stands, this is avoidable pizza, even by Stamford, CT standards.
