Hitting up a local chain today, Westside Pizza in Buckley.
I have serious reservations because it doesn’t look like much.
I’m still waiting for a place that ages their dough a few days to allow fermentation that’s gives the crust a flavor and texture that makes for great pizza.
I don’t do the experience but it’s hard not to notice the improperly installed Pergo flooring in the waiting area.
I’m questioning my decision but I’m hungry and saw this place from the street. I should’ve held out for Salamone’s in Tacoma, which I want to try because they have 4 1/2 stars a an app.
Back to Westside.
It’s delivery pizza with really good sauce, nice spice and sweetness.
The crust is the worst, basically bread dough with no crisp.
It gets 5.6 cause I’d order it for delivery on a night of drinking.
