Wilson's Pizza Shop

Hey “BuffaloPizzaGuy” hope you don’t mind we took the picture of 3 separate slices in the same box. As a matter of fact, this pizza was almost as soft as you! Close but not close enough. Anyways the sauce was quite sour and the cheese didn’t pop at all very mid and soft pizza. I bet Buffalo pizza guys favorite spot is Dragon Pizza

Nothing special, very soft pizza, weird enough to say. It felt like charming ultra soft toilet paper. The taste was just ok along with everything else. I can’t say I’d pick this place out of all places even that may be a 30 minute drive but it’s not an awful spot if you need or want something quick. Besides that, if this is what you pick over everything, I’m sorry.

I will admit my bias. I grew up eating Wilson’s Pizza several times a month. Pizza with the family or a slice on the go. I love this Pizza Shop. Every time I am in town it is a must stop. Sometimes it’s my first stop. It has a thick crust with fresh ingredients. The employees are always friendly and the owners are proud community members. I will stand by my opinion that this is one of the best pizzas I have eaten.

Pizza is more homemade/ cafeteria style, not what you expect from a pizzeria. Crust is super thick and very doughy. Undercarriage is undercooked. They do offer sweet sauce and regular sauce. Regular sauce is vey bland but sweet has a decent flavor. Cheese was cooked good with some grease pools. Pepperoni was flatter with minimal cup and char. Overall below average pizza.

Anyone else notice Meredith and Marshall sharing the same photo for their review? It’s fair game as they have different opinions but that’s just being lazy. They have also rated this place in the 7’s... Right off the bat without tasting it, I can tell it’s not a 7. Fresh dough, with nice clean bites. This pizza is thick with an nice crispy crust that’s easy to eat. There’s not much crisp on the bottom but it holds up well. The sauce is a little acidic with hints of oregano. It was piping hot, some of the other seasonings we’re lost. It’s not bad sauce but it lingers. The cheese, eh. They really skimped on the cheese here. You can see it was centralized and really nothing special about it except it’s fresher than what I’ve had. This is a basic, fresh pie with minimal cheese.

Not bad. Not great. It's pretty okay. You won't be left wanting more. You'll probably throw away leftovers. But the pizza ain the moment did it's job. Not mad.

Decent Pizza. Don't hate it, don't love it.
