Windy City Pie

First time trying the Chicago deep dish style, pretty impressed. Highly recommend going in and sitting down and trying, the crisp is great when you first get it, but ofcourse wears off as it sits. Could use a bit more cheese, but all ingredients taste high quality

The thinnest layer of cheese, not what you want in a chicago-style pizza. The toppings were great but just tasted like bread with sauce if you had a bite without them. Barely any crunch for how much char you see. The end crust was the best part

Places feels like a rite of passage in Seattle. The quality of ingredients plus the bake of the crust starts this at an 8 for me. Just on skill. Got the meatza. Overall not my style, but very very impressive for the area.

Maybe the best pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life. Got the Meatza. The candied bacon is so crunchy, pairs well with the sweet sauce. Not too heavy on the cheese like a typical Chicago style at Gilrdano’s or Lou Malnati’s. 9.7 for the smell alone!

Disclaimer: the two of us who ate this gave two very different ratings (7.3 vs. 8.2) so this is the average rating. We agreed that the omnivore pizza was overall very sweet: the sauce, bread, and caramelized onions were too sweet combined and weren’t offset by anything salty. The house sausage was fantastic. Crust was meh, very chewy and hard to cut through. One of us had to add loads of salt to balance out the sweetness

I would go out of my way to buy this. It’s a napkin slop fest, and they do it right. Good eats and you can use it as a 10 pound dumbbell to get puffed up as you bring it home to you loved one.

More of a stew than a pizza. Graded on a curve cause it’s Seattle? Perhaps. But damn it’s tasty

The crust and the ingredients were absolutely amazing, in the 9’s. It got a little too sloppy but the pizza was fantastic.... very very good.

A cross between the Midwest pan and the Chi town classic. Good sauce, crispy edges, went with extra cheese, a good call. Overall a solid slice whether you like the dish style or not.

Not quite as good as Breezy Town, but still very good. I’m a sucker for their burnt cheese crust

Best Chicago Pie you can get in Washington. If anyone knows a better place, I’m all ears.

Who ever is dishing out an 8.7 on this pie has some serious leering to do, this is a solid pie no doubt but is 87% bread.

Tons of toppings, crust is on point, local brews on tap. Chicago deep dish done right in Seattle.

It’s not pizza, it’s a casserole. But it’s good for what it is.
