Wings Pizza N Things

I haven’t been here in several years. Definitely gone downhill. I understand they were trying to sell it for a while. I’m not sure if they ever did. Pizza was soggy too much cheese zero flavor. I ordered a pepperoni mushroom in the wrist like maybe 15 mushrooms on the whole pizza yes, I ate half of it. I was hungry. I feel really bad for these people. It’s a great place. They just need a real pizza aficionado to run it if it stays in business, maybe someday they will find somebody that knows how to make pizza.

Good bar fare but it’s more for the beer and wings. Pizza is good, Elle greasy, salty, good sauce and cheese.

A lot to unpack here.... I was recommended this as being one of the best pizza places in the Bell county area and let’s just say that.... it is certainly pizza. And just a note: I ate this pizza after my first day back to work, I was tired, starving and did not have any energy to cook. Probably anything would’ve tasted good. That being said let’s get into the 4 reviews, worst to best Crust: ironically what my friend recommended as the best thing about the pizza, but this “New York crust” is anything but. I’ve never had a slice of pizza from New York that was this doughy. It tasted straight up microwaved. Now I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt seeing as it was in the box for a whopping 5 minutes, but seriously, this has to be the worst crust I’ve ever had. Wayyyyy too doughy almost the same consistency as a shipleys donut. Friend told me if it was home made... it it is home made then let’s get some freezer crust and move forward. Cheese: it’s not what I have to say about the cheese, it’s what I don’t have to say about the cheese. I simply can’t describe the taste or flavor.... just blandness. It took me 5 slices of trying to really key into a unique flavor but even after 5 I couldn’t really distinguish anything. Definitely below average. Sauce: nothing special here either. This is an average sauce on a doughy microwaved tasting pie. I can’t say much cause there isn’t really anything to say.. Vibe: it’s saving grace, but vibes aren’t weighted very heavily as the mentioned three above. Even the vibe was lackluster, but I will say there was a good amount of people there on a Wednesday night and I did not expect it to be so packed given the location. This seems like the place to be in temple and I can respect that. But even then it’s not even really amongst your average bars but definitely not a place I’d steer clear of. Overall.... I was super hungry and could’ve eaten the whole thing.... but by slice 5 I was just done... this thing taste straight out the microwave with looks to compliment. When they said New York crust they must’ve meant Something else. Pros: -vibe I guess -super cheap Cons: -worst crust I’ve ever had -sauce lackluster -cheese lackluster -overall a huge let down for what it was hyped up to be.
