Very good slices. Good crunch and flavor, maybe a little cheese heavy for me on the plain slice. But definitely worth the visit when in Philly. Cool vibe and good people inside as well.

Great cheese slice and even better grandma slice! 4 bucks for a cheese and 5 for a grandma. A little flop but not crazy. Crust has nice crunch. Sauce is sweet on grandma. Cheese not too oily. Worth the walk!

This pizza is legit. The crust is crunchy but still has some chewiness to it. The cheese and sauce is flavorful. This is good pizza. The thigh wing things with the dry rub well done are great and unique. Give this place a try.

Solid pizza. Sauce stands out. Very rich tomato flavor. Problem for me is primarily dough. Bland and not well done enough. Floppy mess after sitting in box for only 15 min. Has mid 8s potential though

In Philly, this is presumably at least top fifteen. Been on my radar for years. Let’s get to it. We’ll focus on the regular/standard slice, not the upside down Eye test - the standard slice looks ok. Nothing special Ratio - just a hair too much cheese, and a hair too light on the sauce, but barely Execution-baking process is perfect. The quality of both taste and ingredients is undeniable. Dough - a bit on the tasteless side. Has the tiniest hint of salt. Baked to perfection with pockets of air, perfect underside crunch, completely void of any areas that are over or undercooked. Just needs a tiny bit more taste. Sauce - seems overwhelmed by the spices. The tomato sauce flavor doesn’t come through. Basil, oregano, etc. certainly jump out. Utterly void of sweetness. One of the stronger tasting slices I can ever remember, and although the taste is pleasant, the tomato sauce gets demolished by the spices. Cheese - Hard pressed to really let the natural cheese flavor come through. Overwhelmed by the spices. Perfect chew Overall - everything comes together. None of the three ingredients are excellent, however, since they are all good, it makes for a positive experience. Ideally, needs to chill on the spices and let the major three ingredients do the talking Bonus upside down thingie - good stuff. Far too classy for Mets fans, however, I have no objection if you choose to eat whatever is in their trash dumpster in the back after closing

Fancy, but only $4 for a slice. Great crust and good sauce, but very cheesy and strong basil. Weighing the good with the bad it honestly comes out right in the middle of the range of good pizza

Nice thin crust. Sauce is ok. Cheese is ok. The basil leaves add a nice touch of flavor. I don’t know. Pretty average to me. It’s worth noting that a large is a 20 inch pie so you do get more for your money, but honestly it looks better than it tastes.

Pretty darn good. Very good sauce. Better than most Philly slices I’ve had!
