Pizza Review
We came here and ordered 3 pizzas. 1) Margherita - Was underdone. They used slabs of beef steak tomatoes on the pie… I thought this is a traditional pizza, not subway. Gross. 2) Gugliemo - Herb Veloute base, Brie, pear, proschuito. This was the best of the 3 pizzas we had. Was cooked more thoroughly. The flavour was not bad. The herb veloute really over powered the pizza. 3) Salscissia - pesto base, sausage, mozzarella, red onions. This was nasty and not edible. The pesto was 90% oil and they used way too much the oil bled through the pizza causing the entire pizza to be greasy and soggy. The flour from the board also stuck with the oil making the bottom of the pizza an absolute mess. I’m the guy that says, even bad pizza is good pizza…. This proved me wrong. The dough was flavourless flatbread. No cornicone. Just a pita like bread… I don’t even get how you mess this up. Anyone who scored this place highly has got to be an employee or a friend of the owner. I had such high hopes for this place. Sadly. Will not be back.
