We got here 15 minute before closing time on a Saturday.. staff was not thrilled. I really do wish the service was better.. our waitress was detached and really did not care about us... but I get it. This is not NYC.. 10:45pm is late in SF.
Our waitress’s SV aside... we sat at the bar and watched our dough bake. Chefs were fun to talk to.
We got the pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. Under the cheese were hidden sweet peppers and their tang excellently complemented the slightly charred, small radius, but somewhat thick pepperoni. I expected more wow from the dough in the the center of the pie, but the light bubbly crust brought it home, soaking in those delicious peppery oils.
Loved it. But can improve on the experience.
