This pizza was pretty good and got better when it cooled down a bit. The flavor and balance of the cheese and sauce was good. Slices were floppy with a crispy bottom while having a more doughy crust. The undercarriage had a very cornmeal like texture, but that didn’t take away from the slice. Overall I enjoyed it.

Definitely one of the better slices in sf. A bit of crisp, good sauce and flavor with some flop

What a find!!! This is my kind of spot. Been around for 31 years, ton of locals coming in and out. The owner was super friendly and he and I chatted the whole time. Just the perfect place to jump in and have a slice. About the slice. It was amazing. Cooked to perfection. Not greasy and the right amount of sauce. The sauce was on the sweeter side. Had a nice crisp to it and although it did have cornmeal on the bottom it didn’t bother me or ruin the taste. I will dub this my pizza joint in San Francisco!!

Didn't plan on leaving a review, but my god this pizza is legit. Do not sleep on this place, I would recommend it in a heartbeat. Perfect crust, minimal flop, exact right mix of sauce and cheese, perfect touch of grease, a high caliber za. This one’s a killer Frankie.

Alright... Pizza Review Time!! We are here in San Francisco off Hyde Street at Za Pizza. One bite everyone knows the rules... Really decent undercarriage with a minimal flop. It's has some crunch to it and is super light and thin exactly what you want in a NY Slice. Really cheesy!! Have to say the workers there were awesome made everyone feel at home. Going to go 8.1 and that's the review!
