Zio Niccolo Pizza

The actual location of this joint is different than the one listed on the OneBite App; regardless, this spot isn’t worth finding anyway. If I had to describe this pizza in one word: atrocious. This might be the most undercooked pie I have ever been served. Forget about crisp, this dough is practically raw. Either this pizza was only in the oven for 30 seconds or it was baked under a heat lamp. Along with being horrifically undercooked, this is also severely under-sauced; aside from a fair amount of grease, it’s a borderline white pie, dry and flavorless. As if those issues weren’t enough, the cheese is pungently foul-smelling, super stringy with a nasty taste to boot. That’s 3 strikes; this pie is out! As constructed, this is bad pizza, plain & simple. Now obviously a lot more time in the oven and a few more ladles of sauce could fix some of these problems, so I’m not giving my lowest score ever. But if no adjustments are made, I wouldn’t even feed this pizza to the seagulls.
