Achieves the rare status of being burnt yet soggy. Watery sauce, cheese is solid. The aesthetics of the place and friendly wait staff are pulling the weight in this score.

Solid pizza for San Antonio. Great wood fired crust, crispy. Not much Boerne flop. Sauce could use a little more flavor. I’ve tried Julian’s and Big Lou’s. Julian’s and Z’s are on par. Slightly different bake; hence, a different crunch on their pies. I would recommend this place but can’t get to an 8.
