Not sure what anyone is thinking. But the frozen pizza that Dave reviewed shouldn’t be that high. Yes it’s better than grocery store bought pizza, but this is a 5 all day. Too greasy, lacks flavor in the sauce. Carlos in Atlanta is Way better.

Another major joint that lives up to the hype. Very hectic place, but very good pizza. Great crust.

Had it shipped in so not as fresh as if I visited in person but I have been there before and I’m a good enough griller that I still nailed it. Sausage was great too!

This would be a higher score, in the 8’s, if the “meatball” meat wasn’t oily and gross. Tasted cheap.

Not elite New Haven style but still damn good. Great taste but a little oily at times Two people can easily crush a whole large.

This is damn close to pizza perfection. My personal favorite fresh clam and sausage in the area. Best enjoyed there, it takes a drop when it hits the box because you lose the delicate crisp of the bread-like thin crust. Amazing pizza, cool owners.

Very good pizza. Everything tastes great and it has a good flop. Really enjoyed the pizza.

Solid Apizza. Crust could be a bit softer. Kinda like chewing a hard cracker.

I went with a half cheese half special, which features Zuppardis homemade fennel sausage and mushrooms, and dear God was it good! The sausage was absolutely to die for and the pizza was cooked perfectly with an amazing crunch in every bite! They use your typical gas oven, but you never know by looking at it, is there pie looks like it came from a coal fired oven. Zuppardis also has a large freezer full of their pies, if you want to take one to go. Which was something new that I hadn't seen anywhere else. Pretty good idea as you could take one to someone else and give them the Zuppardis experience as long as you package it correctly.

Cheese a little overbearing, great crisp and breadiness on the crust

VERY good pizza, the cheese and sauce ratio was perfect. There was no much grease at all and there was only a small flop. The best part was how the crust was crisp but also had a fluffiness to it. Great pizza and I would definitely get it again if I were in the area.

Live in Iowa so ordered frozen. Amazing crunchy crust and so flavorful and fresh!

Made a pit stop for a pie. Good old school spot. Pie was really good. Crust had a great crunch to it; definitely the best part. A little too oily on top to give it an 8 but would definitely recommend.

Very good but maybe cut back on the grease. Had no flop whatsoever

C’mon. It’s the package. There’s a butteriness to the crust that is subtle magic. Stop here before New Haven. It’s the trifecta of pizza perfectness- dough/ sauce/ cheese.
