VERY good pizza, the cheese and sauce ratio was perfect. There was no much grease at all and there was only a small flop. The best part was how the crust was crisp but also had a fluffiness to it. Great pizza and I would definitely get it again if I were in the area.

Live in Iowa so ordered frozen. Amazing crunchy crust and so flavorful and fresh!

Made a pit stop for a pie. Good old school spot. Pie was really good. Crust had a great crunch to it; definitely the best part. A little too oily on top to give it an 8 but would definitely recommend.

Very good but maybe cut back on the grease. Had no flop whatsoever

C’mon. It’s the package. There’s a butteriness to the crust that is subtle magic. Stop here before New Haven. It’s the trifecta of pizza perfectness- dough/ sauce/ cheese.

If the dough only gets better the closer I get to Wooster St ?? You’re gonna have to roll my fat ass back to NY

If you’re looking for old school New Haven style pizza without the long lines and waits, Zuppardi’s in West Haven is a terrific alternative. The dough is outstanding, both in taste and texture, thickish and crispy, with tremendously delicious crust, perfectly cooked. The cheese is excellent, with a creamy consistency, melted really well considering the nice char level, and definitely some sharp bite and kick in the flavor. I’m slightly disappointed by the sauce which is a little lacking in volume and taste. While the sauce isn’t bad, I’m very surprised it doesn’t have a more distinctive flavor. Overall, this is a fantastic pie and the closest thing to Pepe’s in the area.

Crust and cheese are excellent. Sauce could use some improvement. Could be more sauce.

Really good pies here, clam was phenomenal but not the standard fare for review. The regular pie is really good, I'll go a smidge below the Wooster stuff, but it's tight. Little extra cheesy and saucy for my tastes.

Frozen via goldbelly. Very nice crust. Crispy with great chew. Cheese was good, creamy even. Sauce great but wish it had more.

Excellent pizza…. One of New Haven area bests. Sauce, cheese, crust, dough all good…. Adding Sausage or Bacon to the pizza I highly recommend.. the Sauce pie excellent as well … and it’s my favorite leftover pizza as well… freeze and reheat it comes out just as good

This pizza was one of the tougher ones to rate. All though it was frozen pizza, it gave absolutely no hint towards that. Unbelievable crisp great cheese but very much lacking on the sauce. Obviously this was incomparable to any frozen pizza I’ve ever had, but it also would’ve impressed me if i ordered it at a pizza establishment non frozen. That goes to show you this the real shit. Amazing frozen and regular pizza. 8.2

Soo ordered Zuppardi’s Frozen Apizza from Goldbelly. Was super crispy and not like other frozen pizzas. Not as much flavor as I would have hoped for, but was still good and enjoyed it.

Very very good. Not at the same level as Sally’s, but I really enjoyed my plain slice. Sauce was average, crust was tasty and the cheese is wha stood out the most. If I were eating the sausage pizza, this rating would be above 9. Overall, wonderful experience, and wonderful pie.

I can safely say this is the best pizza in the New Haven area. Crust is flavorful. Great sauce to cheese ratio. Barely any flop; very good undercarriage.

Solid New Haven-style “Apizza” pizza. Crust was the star. Sauce was very good, just right amount of cheese
