Zuppardi's Apizza

Excellent pizza!

This pizza had great taste! I don’t know if the One Bite community would agree if it’s a thing to be too firm. The undercarriage was very stiff! I know we don’t want flop, but I want to be able to bite into it easily!

A little underwhelming after west haven folks claimed to be better than New Haven. Pretty floppy and generic taste. Not to say it was bad, it was still very good but it did not live up to the hype.

My fav in West Haven CT I like a topping and the sausage is delicious. Crunchy. Good carriage!

Thank God they actually brought there gas ovens to the One Bite Fest rather than just reheating their frozen pies like they did at Apizza Feast. Just had their tomato pie at their original location last Saturday. This was better than their tomato pie. I feel like your average New Haven place has better pizza then your average slice joint. This was most similar to Louie and Ernie's also at the fest. Cornmeal crust, well done on the bottom, crispy but not crunchy with a bit of pliability in the cornicione not chewiness. Could maybe go to an 8 or as low as the higher mid 7s. But the slices I had (more than what's pictured) were good in a way any New Yorker could appreciate from a New Haven spot.

Good tang, loved the vibes of the store too. The crust was knockout, absolutely out of this world. Special shout-out to teddy for recommending this place.

First time doing any Clam pizza, very good soft not really gummy, fresh tasting, crust crunchy garlicky.
