Pizza Review
Overall, pretty good place. I had a regular, chicken parm, and vodka burrata slice. Very very good slices. Alright with the regular slice. The crust to pie ratio was a little on the short end with this guy. Good consistency with the crust from the end to about mid point in the slice. From mid point to tip, very very floppy. They stretched the dough too thin, a shame. Taste from midpoint to end, very good. From midpoint to tip, not so good. It had that good residual flour on the bottom so that’s always a plus in my book. Good charred flavor and good crunch from midpoint to end. For the cheese to sauce ratio, we’re probably working with a 55/45 ratio. Just above my preferred 50/50-40/60 ratio but still good. The cheese was nothing to brag about but the sauce was above average. It’s a simple sauce but simple is good. All you need in a good sauce is some tomatoes, basil, and some love. Which they included all three. And to set the record straight, when I say love, I don’t mean cum is in the pie. I mean when they made the pie, they lovingly made the pie and weren’t just going through the motions. Just thought I should clarify. Overall, it’s a good slice. The vodka burrata and chicken parm were good too. I’d rate them 8.2 and 8.6 respectfully. The guy behind the counter had an accent. Not sure if he was just very good at pronouncing burrata or actually Italian but he’s a nice guy. He gets a 9.3.
