This is a no nonsense straight up this pizza fucks sort of slice! Right to the point, crisp, not overly cheesed, great sauce and classic pizza joint vibe inside. A must try if your in the area

Had high expectations for this place due to universal score but I wasn’t impressed. I liked the thinness of the pizza but the sauce didn’t have much flavor and way too greasy.

Good slice. Really enjoyed the sauce. Could have been higher review with less grease, and crispier pepperoni.

HOT! Taste fresh! Beautiful look! Crispy & has a really great after taste. Tastes even better once pizza cools down!

Piping hot delicious pizza, probably the best regular slice Queens has to offer

I walk in on a sunny Sunday afternoon ready to order. The man behind the counter is ranting about how he has to do everything and he decides to ignore me instead of taking my order. Finally, a younger man shows up and takes my order. The pizza was over-the-top greasy. The slices were miniature. The 2 slices I had were the equivalent to 1 regular slice. The price $8.50 for 2 tiny slices and a bottle of coke. I sat in the back of the place and there was a strong smell of ammonia coming from the bathroom. The parking lot outside had a different smell as there were multiple groups smoking on Marijuana. There are better options for pizza in this area and I won't be going back to Amore any time soon.

Wouldn’t be a Scotland trip without someone losing all their bags during the air travel. Getting the clubs, clothes, etc on the direct flight from Columbus to NY was too complex for AA today, today. Sharper Sbarro feel to this one. Yankees type shop. Struggled to focus during the one-bite due to the number serving me.

One of the best slices in Queens. Thin flavorful crust cooked to perfection with a delicious tangy sauce. Always worth the stop.

Absolutely no flop, you can hear the bottom crack when you fold it in half, every bite comes with a crunch, and the ratio of sauce to cheese is perfect!

I had the reg half, not the meatball. Sicilian gets an 8.1. Worth the trip. Very close to Shea Stadium (I will never call it by it’s current name)

A Really good slice in the heart of flushing

There’s a decent amount of hype surrounding this no-nonsense, no frills, nothing fancy, strip mall pizza serving huge New York slices cooked perfectly. With an incredible balance of crispy and soft, it’s about as good as strip mall pizza gets. This is the Queens version of Joe’s Pizza in Manhattan; fairly standard large regular pie but quintessentially delicious. The sauce is sweet and plentiful, bursting with flavor, could use a little more kick but very solid overall. The cheese is exactly how you want standard pizza cheese in both taste and texture, melted perfectly and melds with the sauce in beautiful harmony. The dough is also terrifically tasty, outstanding crispy undercarriage but soft to the bite on top, leading to a crust with similarly great crunch and taste. All in all, this is a super straight fastball right down the pipe, the kind of pizza pie you could eat every day. This is blue collar, put on your work boots and grab your lunch pail pizza that truly makes this place the King of Queens.
