Insane, best I’ve ever had

Went here due to Daves review. If you favor his thin crust bar pie style.. then you'll probably love this pizza. I'm not bias to any style. If it's good, it's good... If not, it's not. I liked this pizza. It was very good, but nowhere near what we thought the hype was all about. If you like to eat 4-5 slices a sitting, you'll need to eat a whole pie for the same fullness. Half the weight of a normal pie for $21 (if you dine in, because as I was explained only after we got the bill that for some reason when you dine in you get more for the same pie you order, also.. because you get bread with your pizza, regardless if you want it or not.. and because someone is serving you). I'd pay double the price for any good pie.. but this explanation didn't make sense to us. As a side note: They actually overcharged me for 2 items, and after I called them about it, they wouldn't even acknowledge anything about reimbursement. The pizza that Dave reviewed seemed to have a crust.. this had zero crust. Not a bad or good thing.. just be aware.. because the waitress said it varies.

Excellent pizza . Thin and crispy !

It’s been like 6 years since I was last here and I’ve been meaning to do a proper review of their thinny thin square. Angeloni’s is the og when it comes to special thin crust pies way before the craze started and the only way to eat it is in the restaurant as last times take out had sat to long. The square gives you more pizza and more crisp with charred edges and a fantastic crisp to the underside with no flop on all corner and edge slices. It’s paper thin but still manages to have a slight airyness if you look closely. As amazing and flavorful as the crust is, the sauce is the highlight of this pizza with the perfect zing aided I’m sure by some hard cheese and melds perfectly to the low moisture cheese on the well done cook, check out the pic to see that blending goin on, absolutely sic bites!!! There’s some slight herbation going on on too that gives a nice little bite but doesn’t overpower you. As this was my first time eating in I got there around 4pm on Christmas Eve and was the perfect timing as I almost had the restaurant to myself before it was jam packed when I left, the staff and service are welcoming and friendly and the owner is one of the most known guys in the state as they are one of NJ’s elite spots. I think after getting to experience this one again it takes my top honors for thin crust pies, a major accomplishment that the previous held for almost 5 years. Since the square pie was released here many including the staff say this is the pie to go with, an absolute must and the perfect way to celebrate the holiday, hell yea. Honestly maybe just a bad day but I really didn’t enjoy this. Too much sauce and tastes frozen? Sauce was also kinda sweet in a weird way, idk. Pepperoni was a bit better

Finally made my way to North Jersey for this pie. Worth the drive.

This was probably the best Thin Crust pizza that i’ve had but I wouldn’t make the drive just to try the hype. It tastes good and crispy but it feels a little small and cheap. Crust was burnt but the inside is truly delicious

I loved the thinny thin. So light and crisp. Good tasting sauce. It was better with a little added basil. Big fan.
