Angelo's Coal Oven Pizzeria

Ordered the old school 13”, it was a good pizza, but didn’t blow our socks off. The crust is thick, but we both felt we needed to dip it if that makes sense, a great pizza doesn’t need a dip. The sauce was fresh and the base was crisp but not too crisp.

Outstanding New York–style pizza and easily among the best in the city. A must-try for anyone visiting. The crust has a satisfying crunch without being dry, and the dough is fresh with excellent flavor. The cheese is rich, creamy, and full of freshness, while the authentic house-made sauce brings everything together and perfectly completes the pizza.

Great pizza , 13 inch is enough for one , it’s like a Italy style pizza mixed with NYC pizza

The pizza was insane. Zero flop. Pep on half. The Ingredients were high quality. The staff at this location were incredibly nice and very quick to take our order.

Just an elite pie. Light and crispy. Flavor is incredible. Nothing wrong whatsoever.

Ok.. so I’d heard the hype.. and it didn’t disappoint. This was the best pizza I’ve ever head. The sauce had it.. and whilst it wasn’t a perfect “no flop” .. the dough was perfect .. because I could have eaten the whole 17” pizza and isn’t that the ultimate test.. otherwise this would probably have been a 9.6👏👏👏👏👏👏

Sauce game is impeccable

This is the third time back and probably the most disappointing. This has been my go to gold standard and sadly just not as great.

Good quality ingredients. Crust was great. Undercarriage was just how you want it from a coal fired oven. Slight flop.

0 flop, super crispy, crunch in every bite. And paper thin I liked it, but I personally love my pizza with more sauce and to be not as thin as paper. Solid sauce, but not my favorite. It is light and I did enjoy it If you’re very much into extremely crispy and thin, this will be hard to beat.
