Angelo's Pizzeria

First things first: the pepperoni is VERY good. A nice kick of spice lingers after a good bite of it. Great topping. I feel the cheese leaves a bit to be desired. There should be more of it. Not much sauce either. The crust is light and flaky making it better than most and I’m not a crust guy. Overall the pizza is solid, but it doesn’t do much to separate itself from the other pizza giants of the city. I’m not sure where others are coming from with the outlandish ratings. If I had to wait for this pizza I would have been fairly disappointed, but since I went on a Tuesday it was a standard 20 minute wait so no problem. Do yourself a favor and get the cheesesteak here, probably a top 5 steak in the city.
