Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings

First bite of the first slice was amazing . Crisp crust . Cheese is right, sauce is right . Great spot in a busy as hell tourist trap . The meatball and ricotta is even better !

There was a quote on the wall from USA Today that said “This is the best pizza in the country” Either USA needs to get out more or hire me to review pizza.

Orlando struggles with pizza so I was hopeful that the “coal fired” and “well done” monikers would bring new life. Presentation was great. ZERO flop. Unfortunately, that was due to the dough being extra bready. Slight crunch but not what you would hope for from coal fired pizza. Cheese wasn’t great and the sauce dollops on top aren’t my thing. Not a destination spot but seemed popular. The wine prices by bottle were actually reasonable so that’s a plus.

Gooood undercarriage, definitely tasting the coal fired flavor, thin and light with a great crisp. 8.1, big score

Great pizza!

Decent pizza. Good crisp, no flop. Dough was a bit dense, and it was super oily overall. Cheese and sauce tasted ok. Probably a good Orlando option. Service was great!

Pizza was good light crispy, good sauce definitely good for a small chain would eat again definitely!!

I'm really disappointed to leave this review with a score of 6.5. I have expectations when the words "coal fired" and "well done" are in the name. This however, was not well done in the slightest. They need a new dough recipe, it was less than desireable. It tasted like frozen dough and nothing about the pizza tasted fresh unfortunately.

Pretty good, the sauce is a little chunky if your into that. The crust surprisingly fluffy and a soft warm cloud feel. Very simple in taste. Good pizza. Not as well done as I thought it would be. Really cheesy as well.

This should be a higher score, but it was undercooked. Coal-fired should never be this floppy, but the flavors are on point. Very good pizza, but lacking on the execution.

Really good crust and undercarriage thanks to the coal fire oven. Cheese was really good as well. If the sauce had more tang to it, this would hit the trifecta and be in the 8’s!

Good crisp, heavy on cheese

The pies are baked in a coal fired oven at 900 degrees. The crust has a great texture and is baked to perfection. Cheese has good flavor, but the sauce is where it falls short for me. The sauce has a good flavor, but it’s a little soupy. I prefer a thicker sauce. Overall it’s not bad.

Certainly some flop and sauce is a bit messy but not a bad pie at all. Solid spot overall. Great service.

Great crust but the sauce was only okay

Pizza review time!!! At first glance the pizza looks beautiful, nice and crisp looking and the cheese looks like heaven. The first bite had a good crisp and had a good coal fire aroma. The cheese had pull and it wasn't greasy...... but unfortunately the flavor..... ugh the flavor :( I wish it had more flavor, it was missing a certain something. Maybe a different cheese with bite, I don't know but it was definitely missing something, it just had a bland flavor. Overall a great looking pizza but a not so great tasting pizza. P.s. the crust taste like a burnt popcorn😕
