When trying a new Italian restaurant, I always order Chicken Parm. If the CP stinks, I won’t go back. For pizza places, the baseline for me is a classic cheese pizza.
While there are a lot of things about the cheese pizza that I love (crisp, thin, real cheese, large slices), the sauce lacks zing. I’ve tried to eat it without garlic powder, salt, RPF, & oregano, but it’s just too bland to do so.
But don’t get me wrong, I still come once a week and get the 2 slices of cheese and salad special. I’d eat this pie all day long. It’s good and I’ll always enjoy my lunches here.
