Great flavor. Lotta flop

I've been dying to visit Apizza. It's been so many times. Yet so far. If you know, Syracuse, the restaurant across the street is a huge draw. But I made it my destination tonight. You walk in the front door, the oven just hit you in the face. Beautiful! I must've had drool coming down my face. Because the Pizzaiolo zeroed in on me looking at the oven. I went over to him and told him it's been a very long dream to come here. I took a seat at the bar. The bartender was amazing. Justin, I believe. The Pizzaiolo came over to me at the bar. And chatted with me. I asked him what to have. He told me. When the pies came, they were amazing. The crust was exactly what it should be for a woodfired oven pie. Airy. Crispy. Chard. Afuckimazing. A MUST VISIT.

Picture says it all. Best pizza in Syracuse. I asked for a special tomato sauce in extra. Great atmosphere and great pizza.

Dave was too predisposed on his review. Even if he starts Neapolitan at 6.8 this is well above average. Shouldn’t have kept him out of the 7s for sure. Apizza thing got to him.

Dave’s 100% tripping on this one. I know he’s not a Neapolitan style guy, but this is a quality thin crust, wood fired pie. A drink or two and vibe may have rose my score a tad, but a solid pie for sure. 6.8 is just a crime to the pizza industry and a spit in the place’s face.

Yea its not a plain cheese but this is phenomenal. Crust is light and crisp and so tasty. The utica greens on here have such a good taste. Best slice ive had in years

I got the “pepperoni”, the wife got the potato. Pretty solid, not my favorite type of pizza, but could tell the ingredients were quality.

Not cheese… yummy yummy meatball. Guest appearance by Kelli who ruined the pizza pic. Salad was great too btw

Floppy, good char, great flavor.

The dough and ingredients are top quality about this pizza. Sauce is a bit sweet for most tastes. Sugary a bit. However the ovens used makes it a really good pizza. Definitely the best in the Syracuse area.

Some flop, but got the slice after it had been sitting. Great sauce. Great flavor cheese. Kind of unique. Overall very good.

A little salty but great flavor. Wish it was cooked a bit longer, but still very good.

Top pizza I’ve had in upstate, ever. Atmosphere is a solid 9/10, food is amazing. Slice has no flop, not too greasy, sauce is tangy, perfect amount of cheese. Fancy pizza for sure with a sit down only style is the only reason I couldn’t put it above a 9

This was the first stop on the trip, so my mind slipped on the picture part lol. We arrived to Apizza right as they opened, we were the first customers to walk in and order a cheese pizza. After placing the order it didn’t take long for the pizza to reach our table, the looks of the pizza was fantastic but the looks were deceiving unfortunately. When trying my first slice of pizza it was if they barley let it cook all the way, the temperature of it was slight under lukewarm which didn’t make the pizza all that appetizing.

Never have I been more disappointed with a place then I was Apizza Regionale. We arrived right when they opened and were the first customers of the day. I ordered an apizza, which is basically just their cheese pie, and ask for it well done since I had read that sometimes it's not as crispy as others would have liked. Well, I got the exact opposite of what I asked for, as the pizza came out and was lukewarm at best. If someone had told me it would have been sitting on the counter for a half hour I would have believed it. What so disappointing is that it did have really good flavor, but I can only rate a room temperature pizza so high.
