Apizza Scholls

Some may say I am retired from reviewing pies, but they would be very wrong. This place knocked my socks right off. Very competitive pie even up against Sally’s. Crust may even be tastier and more fresh ?👀

Top five pizza joints in the country. Have hit some of the top places in New York City and New Haven it’s safe to say Apizza scholls gives them all a run for their money.

Delicious pizza with a nice crisp bite. My favorite pizza in Portland, Oregon.

One of the best in the nation, and definitely my favorite in Portland. The crust is airy yet crunchy and is almost better reheated later. Also love that they’ll do half and half of any pie.

Very solid pie, I’m definitely glad I tried it. For being a New Haven pizza it wasn’t quite as thin or crispy as I expected but still very good!

Got the classic cheese and half sausage. It was pretty good but I don’t feel the New Haven. Solid spot but if you want New Haven, Dimos was better.

Lived here for 6 months and from CT. Looking for a slice of New Haven, getting closer but haven’t found it yet. Dimos is very good

Got the Amore. So good. The sauce is on point and the crust is light and crunchy. One of the best pies I’ve ever had.

Cheese slice

The texture of this pizza is perfect. The dough is very thin and crispy. My only complaints are that they go light on the sauce and the sauce doesn’t have very much flavor. This is still the best pizza in the Portland area.

Best pizza on the west coast

The dough is perfect. Thin and crispy while remaining a bit chewy. No gimmicky toppings needed.
