Sauce was good and cheese was fresh but crust was a little too doughy for me. Solid pizza just nothing outstanding. Plus the pizza is really small like a personal pie and two of them were 38 bucks. Not worth it IMO.

It was good. Definitely worth going too. Reservation only; cash only; but good. Very European feel if you like coal fired pizza.

Attention to detail, fresh ingredients, and love are the 3 components of this pizza. Fantastic. Jerry does a wonderful job. Nice staff too, very friendly. Lovely atmosphere with nice music

Wood fired pie with great taste. Sauce was the standout with a nice balance of sweetness and tang. Crust had an outer layer of sea salt added for a finishing touch. As an aside, best meatball I ever ordered out and the tomato sauce it was in was perfect.

In a town with 8 pizzerias, Aquila is definitely a pizzeria that stands alone. Real nice little joint, owner operated and a great oven. Their Margherita Pie was fantastic. Very little flop, crust was nice and thin with a good bite, perfect amount of sauce and cheese. The crust has a great flavor from the oven, combined with the olive oil they use on their pie it was a really really good pie. Definitely gotta stop by.
