Pizza Review
Alright, Frankie. Artichoke Pizza on E 14th has some of the best pizza in New York. Instead of opting for the go-to Artichoke slice, I decided to go Vodka Sicilian and Regular Sicilian. Both slices were perfectly cooked through, and were not doughy at all, something man Sicilian slices fall victim to. The crust was as crunchy and well done as you can get, without it being actually burnt- just the way I like it. One thing I was most impressed with, was my lack of desire to dress either slice. Never once during any of my bites did I find the need for some garlic powder or crushed red pep. I do not like messy pizza at all, if I wanted to make a mess I would play in some dirt. Artichoke Pizza does an excellent job of keeping these slices together by not overdoing the cheese or sauce. Folks this is the type of pizza that makes you smile, and wish you had more. Highly recommended.
