Very good pizza. The crust steals the show. The crust is cracker like. It’s thin, crispy, and airy. And has good flavor Zero flop due to the cracker crust. Cooked to perfection (ordered well done) Like I said, the crust steals the show. The cheese and pepperoni are high quality but don’t stand out on their own. And I don’t mean that in a bad way Would definitely enjoy this pizza again.

Too much cornmeal for me

Very good pie! I really Liked the wavy end crust, had some real good crunch to it. There seemed to be a lot of oregano which is OK with me. Very good balance of sauce, sausage and cheese. There is plenty of cornmeal on the bottom of the buttery crust. I will absolutely get this pizza again when in Northbrook.

Good pizza overall but wasn’t a big fan of the crust. I understand this is meant to be more of a unique crust but wasn’t for me. Service & speed of pizza coming out was great.

Cornmeal butter crust, crispy with no flop. Love it or hate it?? Meh. Good flavor, very little sauce. Definitely try the Root Beer!

This pizza is amazing. I loved it. The sauce was tangy but also sweet, and the crust was the perfect cracker crust texture. I will definitely eat here again!

Cracker thin and crisp crust makes this a quintessential tavern style pizza. Plus pitchers of beer, and Filberts root beer on tap. This is one of only 2 places I would give a 9. Packed on a Tuesday evening so I am not alone.

That’s cornmeal crust, for an unusual and great tasting tavern style pie. Definitely worth the trip.

pretty good pizza

Solid pizza, thin and crispy with good taste to the cheese and sauce. The lack of a crust leaves a little to be desired especially if you’re used to NYC pizza. That’s why I dropped it from a 7.8 to 7.6.

Taste like freezer pizza

Excellent thin crust. Good crisp throughout the pizza. Good sauce too. Little bit greasy but the cornmeal crust was a big hit and getting good crisp (even in middle pieces) was the kicker for me. A well deserved 8 pizza.
