I hate to say it, but Benny’s is a gimmick pie. The slice is paper thin, which I would normally appreciate, but there’s just so much mass from how large the slices are that the slice flops absurdly, even though the cheese and sauce aren’t in large quantity. It’s also not overly crispy like you’d expect. As far as the flavor, it’s not bad but it’s not very good; it’s very bland, as neither the mozzarella nor the tomato sauce have much flavor at all. A little disappointing, but sometimes it gets the job done.
