Beto's Pizza

This pizza blew my mind. Didn’t think it would be good but had to try it. The dough reminded me of a typical Sicilian. Really good and chunky sauce. No flop. Cheese and toppings are cold. Unusually delicious.

Have to like this style. But incredible crunch. Nice cheese and sauce flavors. Plenty of cheese, could use a little more sauce. Let it melt in the box

The best of the Ohio valley style. The staple. You either HATE or LOVE. I’m team LOVE. Cheese is fresher than fresh, great sauce, and immaculate crust/undercarriage. One of my favorites!

The raw Motz was a bit odd at first but it grew on me. Great crust, sauce was good, reminded me of a lunchable pizza on steroids. I’d recommend it to anyone to try it once.

Strange pizza. The cold cheese/toppings is….odd. Sauce has large chunks of tomato. Crust was good. Overall, not my style but I’m sure some love it.

Unique pizza where the crust and sauce are cooked but the toppings, including cheese, are served cold. Probably so eaters can get more cheese per pizza square inch than they could if it was cooked. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. Cold cheese is probably an acquired taste.

Don’t let the appearance fool you. This pizza is legit. Gotta eat it fresh, crust is so nice and crispy and the sauce is tomatoey. Exceeded my expectations

Stopped in after the Nate Bargatze show. I’ve had other pizzas that did the fresh cheese on top after it came out of the oven and not a fan. So I decided to get it melted to help the score. Cheese crust and pepperoni were very good but I felt the sauce didn’t have much taste so that kept it out of the 7’s

Quality ingredients. Couldn’t go higher because I wasn’t the biggest fan of the hot sauce and cold cheese

It works

As surprised as I’ve ever been by a pizza. Didn’t think I’d dig the cold cheese but it works really well with the sauce and thick crust. Electric crisp.

Beto’s is a must have in Pittsburgh. Super crispy crust, great chunky sauce and cold cheese on top.

Good chunky sauce, crisp and atmosphere. Obviously a bit untraditional but they make it work. Lots of cheese and pretty messy, also wasn’t too hot. Iced tea is super sweet too.
