Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza

I asked for really WD so this is perfect cook for me. Good pizza not great and I know exactly why. Crust crust crust. I think they’re using too much bread flour in their blend, giving it a white bread texture.

We had a large range of scores on this one. Consensus is rock solid pizza. Fresh ingredients.tasty.

Meatball pizza is a must!!! I have yet to have a pizza from black sheep that isn’t delicious.

Alright Frankie, the golden slice never disappoints. Great crunch and coal char. Sauce is top shelf! Fresh basil on half for the lady, not my preference but whatever makes her happy, she likes the herb apparently. Thanks a review..

Barely better than the chain Punch here in Minneapolis which is decent pizza. Coal fired but that aspect doesn’t shine on this pizza!!

I was expecting a whole lot more then what we got in the St. Paul location. Flat like a cracker pepperoni way to generic tasting and covered the whole pizza. Not enough sauce and waaaaaay to much cheese. Got a little higher score due the fact they serve Coors Tall Boys. Disappointed

The #4 is excellent. Crisp crust, good flop, a healthy ricotta distribution & sausage is flavorful.

Literally the best pizza I’ve ever had! Only critique is a little more sauce!

Salty cheese and mid-MN flop. Crust has a perfect blend of crunch and soft. Sauce has a good flavor, could maybe be a little less saucy, but overall good amount.

Quality ingredients. Fresh red sauce. Correct amount of cheese. Perfectly cooked in the hybrid coal fired oven. No flop, crispy crust. In my opinion the crust could have used a little more yeasty flavor. Friendly staff. Good beer.
