What Dave was given did not look like a 7.9 in my book. And a huge chunk of One Bite commenters here and on YouTube have said the same. Saw a short video from the fest where Frankie's father had an honest conversation with Dave about their pizza and how they improved it.
I think what I got here actually does deserve the score that Dave gave them some time back. It was well done, charred a bit, and had more sauce and less cheese. I'd actually argue this one went too far on that char to the point my friend said "not a fan".
But besides that, I was good and they did improve from what they served.
