Brooklyn Square Pizza

Stopped by on a whim. Saw a big window sign that says "buy and 2 sliced and get a free can of pepsi" Go inside, no sicilian at all. Got a regular and their upside down, asked about the free pepsi can, and am told its only 12-3...mind you i was there a few minutes after 3 and NOWHERE on the sign does it say only 12-3. Get to my truck, open the box, and the guy gave me a freaking middle slice. So they will not get a rating other than a 0 because what pizza place doesnt have sicilian out? The regular slice had way too much sauce and a thicker weird dough and under. The upside down tasted like salt. The dough, under and crust was solid, but couldnt taste much other than salt.

A great tasting Sicilian slice. Brooklyn style. Tangy sauce, awesome crust very fluffy and crunchy and flavorful. An absolutely great slice.

Was excited to try this place after seeing the rave reviews for their NJ location but seems this one falls short. This style of pie needs an excellent sauce and this one is just ok, kind of bland. Needs more cheese as well. The crust is actually the highlight and has a great balance of light and fluffy while being crispy.

Decent to say the least. Interior is not great, but the slice makes up for it! One complaint - sauce is too dry.

Solid pizza no flop. Little crunchy for my liking. This place will always be L&Bs little brother.

Offensive lineman. Light on its feet. Good tasting sauce. Crust was perfect.

The vodka Square was by far the best Of this bunch…it’s easily a 7.7- the upside down Sicilian 6.4 - I really didn’t care for the sauce at all. It’s too sweet and lacks flavor. The bake was nice though. The regular slice was a very basic 6.2. It’s decent but nothing to write home about.

Regular has an interesting tang to the sauce but nice crispy slice. The Brooklyn square is in the name and clearly lives up the hype.

For the first time, I’m not scoring the regular… when the place is called “Brooklyn Square Pizza” I feel they should get a pass. I liked it. Would definitely come back. Solid 7.8….

Regular: i didn't find it to be terrible. It obviously wasn't the best ive ever had. It was thin with a slight crispy to the bottom. I would consider it a soft slice, sauce is on the sweet side. 7.2 Square: crust is as close to spumoni as you could get. The sauce is not quite the same though. I feel this sauce is sweeter. All and all a real good slice. 8.2

Sauce was really weird, grandma slice was awful like 3.1, regular just was just not good

As close to L&B Spumoni Gardens as it gets without the trip and traffic to Brooklyn.

Really good pizza.Love the sesame seeds and the pasta I would like a little sauce on it but I still love it ❤️❤️ Maddy

This is the reason you come here. Very “old world Brooklyn“ slice. Nice quality ingredients. Not too heavy.

Don’t do the regular have to go with the square. Sauce is above average and crust is unreal.

The Square is a solid 8.1 in the “Square” realm, I would just get the square. The regular is very disappointing- major flop, thin but no crunch whatsoever, very greasy..Regular is a 6.4

It’s not L&B but it’s ok for LI pizza.

A good slice, thin crispy crust with no flop. Not much flavor with the sauce, good cheese. Overall a good local slice. If your gonna go you have to get the square, it’s very good.

I really wanted to like this pie but i was not very impressed. It was so soft it reminded me of a italian deli tomato pie. Not a ton of flavor. It also could have used a bit more cheese.

Was here for lunch had the regular slice and a vodka slice both had a good sauce to cheese ratio and were a little crispy no flip at all. Regular I give a 9 and Vodka I give a 10. Dave and Frankie have to go here.
