I have tried pizza from Philly to Boston and everywhere in between. I'm always on the road and love trying all the top places. Any pizza freak knows that is where you will find some of the best pizza. Now about brunis. Every since I first came here years ago it has been my favorite pizza and still is to this day. I very rarely have had a bad pie from here. If you come you have to eat it fresh out the oven and a whole pie!!! If you get a slice or order it and wait until it cools and reheat it, IT WILL NOT BE THE SAME. This is probably why there is bad reviews. Pizza is perfect crisp and you know it's great quality cheese because there is no grease. ( greasy pizza tends to mean not the best cheese) The sauce has a nice tang and the crust is something that grew on me overtime but it's definitely not for everyone. Even if you won't like the crust it is still worth giving a try. This pizza is 100% worth going out of your way for and if you want to make sure it's crispy just ask! The staff is amazing! I've tried deluccias (which Dave rated in the 9's) and I think it is very similar to this pie however I think this one is way better!!

The pizza packs a lot of flavor. The sauce is great, with a very good cheese. Strong undercarriage on the slices as well. The crust leaves a bit to be desired, which does drive down the overall score. I think this is a common issue I have with South Jersey pizza, but nonetheless this is a very good, simple pizzeria.

Really good pizza. If I got it fresh and didn’t let it sit in the box it would be higher. Crust is flaky and sauce was good with not too much. Would def get again but maybe order more well done.

No flop, this ain’t no football pizza. This pizza has cheese on the bottom and the sauce on top. This says south jersey. The best in South Jersey.

Legit boardwalk pizza. I felt like I was eating a slice on the Ocean City Boardwalk. The dough was light, flaky, and crispy. The sauce had great tang and it was plentiful. Great cheese blend. Really solid slice for $3. Worth traveling for. Elite slice.

Eye test strong. Ratio- good Cheese- not sure what the combination is but has an American cheese quality I’m not looking for. Very soft, no chew Dough- has no meaningful taste. Crisp a bit lacking Sauce- a tad sweet, no tang. Certainly not special Execution- Reality and community score are not congruent. I can see why there may be a bias to like this. It is unique, but the three ingredients have no special taste. They fail to combine into anything of value. Brooks Robinson said, “You get four at-bats and nine innings in the field. Excellent thin crust. Sauce has a nice tang to it. Tastes like a boardwalk slice. I’m guessing the cheese is a cheddar-mozz mix. A little bit of flop, but still nice and foldable. Very good pie overall. Highly recommend stopping in.

It was so good I ate the whole thing before I could take a picture. The pizza itself is amazing, 8.5+, amazing flavor, but the crust is awful so I couldn’t give it anything in the 8s.

Best pizza in SJ!! Hands down second to none nothing like it. Crust is always crispy. Zero flop. Phenomenal sauce. Consistently amazing. Staff treats you like family.

Personal plain pie. Cracker crust was the same consistency all the way to the crust, not too thick, not too thin. Cooked perfectly with zero flop and good undercarriage. Cheese and sauce are on point and just the right amount of oregeno on top which seemed to be ground down and smaller which lent to a more subtle kick.

Been coming here for 40 years! Today it was incredible!I know Dave would love this pizza! Crust was perfect, you need to eat this pizza here out of the oven. Fresh garlic, fresh basil, green peppers, onions! How ya doin!
