Buddy's Pizza - Auburn Hills

First time in Detroit and this is the place (but probably not the original location) that everyone says to try. Usually I’m disappointed with recommendations but this was ordered by delivery so sat in a box for 10-15 minutes and was still crunchy crust when I ate it. Reminds me of the old Pizza Hut pan pizza crust, light fluffy with a nice crisp but soft inside. This was the “Detroiter” on the menu. Really enjoyed it and would recommend

Buddy’s Thin and Extra Crispy version of the Detroit Square pizza is the best Pizza in the State of Michigan.

Very good deep dish. Not super greasy, excellent sauce. Very crispy edge but the crust is soft, non gum scratching. A must for deep dish lovers in the area.

Nothing beats this pizza. Maybe some place in NY but this is fantastic, and the most authentic Detroit Style Pizza you will find.

Detroit-style is superior

Dough is ok, cheese is kinda bad but the sauce is great. The cheese to sauce ratio is a joke. The first 4 bites are all sauce then the rest are cheese and dough. This za used to be great but the quality has gone down over the last year. Better than jets pizza but way worse than green lantern.

Great toppings , great cheese and sauce. A local Detroit tradition as always it never dissappoints although I prefer thinner crust this is a crispy as a thin pizza

Solid solid pizza. Good sauce. Good cheese. Good crunch. If it was a little cheaper I would say 9.

Very light and fluffy crust, capped with a good crunch. Sauce is sweet but tangy. Excellent stop!

Tastes good. Great crunch to every bite. Pretty expensive tho

Solid pie, good crisp Detroit style.

Ordered the “Detroiter” and it was fantastic. Cheese was perfect, nice blend of spices and strong thin crust.
