Buddy's Pizza

Loved our experience at Buddy’s Pizza of Grand Rapids! Great atmosphere and pizza was on point! Crust cooked perfectly in the cast iron pans, cheese pull was excellent, and for a Detroit style it was nice and light! We got the Henry Ford and my sons got the Detroit PBS both were excellent! Great salad, awesome cheese bread, and they had Vernor’s to top it all off! Definitely stop on in!

Good amount of toppings, and good taste with a bit of sweeter tasting crust.

First time having a Detroit-Style Deep Dish, and I was not disappointed. Got the 8-Square Detroiter. The Crust had so much flavor and was cooked to perfection. I normally prefer Thin Crust Tavern Styles, but this was amazing. Highly recommend. Best Pizza I’ve had yet in the GR Area.

Good all-around Detroit style. Thinner than some detroit style. Inprefer my roni on top and cupped with crisp, but a crispy crispy crust and great sauce.

Maybe it only the Shelby location I thought was really good. This isn’t bad pizza but nothing special and way overpriced. Their antipasto is bomb though

Delicious detroit style

WOW. Absolutely amazing Detroit style, square cut, deep dish pizza. The cheese blend was my favorite part. We ordered takeout, so we didn’t get the fresh hot out of the oven pizza. Perfect amount of sauce. Ordered it a little more well done. Buttery crust. Definitely putting Buddy’s in our Friday night pizza rotation!

Square Pizza. Crispy buttery crust. Tangy sauce and they splash some pizza sauce right on top which is really cool. Not sure what a Detroit style cheese blend is, but I was dang good! Quality pepperoni. Might be my favorite square pizza yet.

Almost gone. It was good. Crust is the best.

Nice crunch but just Not enough flavor in the crust to warrant a higher score. But it was a good average pizza.
