Buddy's Pizza

Tasty, but lacking compared to Michigan& Trumbull. A little too heavy for my liking and pretty greasy, but still has that nice crispy crust. Good cheese but needed more sauce.

So underwhelming. Basically cheese bread with inconsistent dauber and cheese. Plus the bread taste basic in the first place. Compared to jets... this was a waste of money.

The perfect Detroit style, it’s not the same as dining in at the original location in Detroit, I’d give that location an 8.4. Takeout at the Lansing location though, I think 7.9 is good, it’s damn good, other than Detroit Frankie’s, it’s the best pizza in Lansing.

Good bite, solid pizza not great. Some pieces didn’t have as much cheese or sauce, but overall enjoyed it. Will go back.

Probably the best spot in Lansing. Great Detroit style pizza that is surprisingly light. Has a crisp crust and tasty sauce. The toppings are fresh and high quality.

Very disappointed. Pizza was dry with very little sauce. The crust was spongey and the pizza was cold. The bread sticks are more like an overdone dinner roll.

This will quickly become one of the best spots in Lansing. I Love Detroit Style just about as much as Chicago Deep— it’s not quite where the top Chicago spots land, like Lou Malnatis, but it’s right there. Felt the freshness, great sauce, incredible crisp. Can’t wait for Corona to get lost so we can have one on the patio with a cold one.

Get banged on if you think there’s better pizza in Lansing. The new champion. One bite we all know the rules. 8.3 all day.
